Abundant Life Church is a rapidly growing church in one of the fastest developing counties in America, Forsyth County, Georgia. It has a thriving congregation made up of many ages, cultures and backgrounds.

Pastor Mark Smith and his wife Lequita planted what is now known as Abundant Life Church in Cumming, GA in 2001. Since then, their church family has grown from just a handful of people to over 150 people every week. Pastor Mark has a three-fold vision: Loving God, Empowering People, and Sharing Life. Through his global vision, he has been able to reach thousands of people for Christ in this community and all over the world. God gave Pastor Mark a unique vision to begin a different church in Cumming when he read John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” 

He really wanted to begin a life-giving church for those who have been beaten down by the enemy. God has given Pastor Mark a heart for the nations. Abundant Life Church is active in sending people out into the mission field on a regular basis. Each year there are multiple teams that go out and spread the love of Christ around the world. India, Honduras, Mexico, Cuba, The Philippines, and most recently Ghana, Africa are some of the places where the church has had an opportunity to serve in missions. Abundant Life Church also has planted a church in Ghana, Africa, called Abundant Life Chapel in Assesewa. Local missions is also something that Pastor Mark stays focused on. 

From our monthly outreach efforts at the Forsyth County Jail, Phillips State Prison, The Place of Forsyth, and Tara Plantation to our regular special outreach events to our Hispanic neighbors and others in the community, we pray that everything we do shows those around us how much God loves them.
